Krups and Heineken have come together and produced a scaled down and classy version of a kegerator, know as the “Beertender”. Starting in March, it will be sold exclusively at Williams-Sonoma for the low low price of $400! Hurry kids, this must-have for your dorm room will sell out fast!
Or if you can wait a month, it will be available at other retailers for the cheaper, yet still overpriced sum of $300. That is of course, if you want to be drinking $300 draft Heineken, which trust me, I don’t. One thing what might make this handy appliance better is if didn’t use only “draught kegs” as its beer source, which are pressurized from within, making it impossible to re-use (aka refill with beer that is far superior to Heineken). So you’re stuck with the one beer choice, which severely limits not only its audience, but also my taste buds.
Please try again, this time with more beer selection and a price reduction, and MAYBE I’ll consider ponying up the cash for in house draft beer.
